Connie joined ECS Systems at the start of the year and is already getting stuck into her role, which involves managing the callouts for both domestic and commercial properties. Connie’s work is vital to ensuring our engineers can get to appointments quickly and efficiently, and all costs and timeframes are communicated to our customers.
What’s your previous experience in our industry, Connie?
I worked for a lift company for 4 and a half years as a Major Contract Coordinator. A substantial part of my previous job role was raising callouts and allocating them to the engineers, which is very similar to my new role here.
What do you enjoy the most about your role?
I love liaising with different people throughout the day, whether that be over the phone or via email. I believe that good quality communication between colleagues, clients and engineers creates the positive working relationships that are so central to our success as a business.
What are you working on at the moment?
I’m new to the security industry, so I’m working on brushing up my technical skills. I like to get things right first time, but I understand it’s going to take me a while to learn how everything works! My proudest achievement to date is completing my very first intruder alarm reset over the phone.
What do you enjoy the most about working at ECS?
The part I enjoy the most about working at ECS is working with a brilliant team. The team works very well together, which means we can solve problems faster.
What’s one thing you wish potential customers knew about ECS?
I wish that potential customers knew that we have a committed, hard-working team who strive to deliver a high level of customer service and a rapid response. Our team also participates
in charity work, such as delivery food bank donations – we’re always looking at ways we can give back to the local community.
